Abstract
Latar Belakang : Triple Burden Malnutrition adalah kondisi saat ini permasalah status gizi yang terjadi. Disamping seluruh pemerintah di dunai ingin menyeleikan permasalahan gizi kurang, namun peningkatan masalah gizi lebih atau obesitas terus terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan riwayat keturunan, frekuensi merokok, dan lama mengkonsumsi alkohol dengan kejadian obesitas pada mahasiswa/i di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Yarsi. Metode : Desain penelitian yaitu cross sectional dan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 170 mahasiswa/i. Variabel dependen yang digunakan adalah perhitungan IMT kategori obesitas dan variabel independen yang digunakan yaitu riwayat keturunan, frekuensi merokok, dan lama mengkonsumsi alkohol. Hasil : Terdapat hubungan antara riwayat keturunan dengan obesitas pada mahasiswa/i (POR = 5,542; CI (2.359-13.020)), lama mengkonsumsi alkohol dengan obesitas pada mahasiswa/i (POR = 4.352; CI (1.092-17.337)) dan tidak ada hubungan antara frekuensi merokok dengan kejadian obesitas pada mahasiswa/i. Kesimpulan : Faktor penyebab riwayat keturunan merupakan faktor non modifikasi, namun faktor kebiasaan merokok dan konsumsi alkohol adalah faktor yang dapat diubah. Sehingga perlu perilaku pencegahan untuk menghilangkan kebiasaan merokok dan konsumsi alkohol yang tidak baik untuk kesehatan tubuh.
