Abstract

Antarmuka katalog daring perpustakaan Universitas YARSI berbasis SLiMS 5 Meranti dengan tampilan dasar. Perpustakaan Universitas YARSI tergolong unik karena masih menggunakan aplikasi yang lawas dan belum ditemukan evaluasi usability yang menggunakan Metode Think Aloud. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi usability antarmuka katalog daring (SLiMS 5 Meranti) dengan Metode Think Aloud, penilaian pasca tugas dan pasca sesi. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan Metode Think Aloud menunjukkan bahwa menu unduh koleksi dapat diakses dengan mudah ditunjukkan dari nilai ekspresi positif sebesar 66.7% dan menu reservasi yang masih sulit diakses oleh partisipan dengan nilai nilai ekspresi sebesar 83.3%. Rata-rata partisipan merasa puas dalam kemudahan, total waktu, dan bantuan informasi terutama pada menu login anggota serta masih menemukan kesulitan pada menu unduh koleksi dan akses tautan jurnal online dengan banyaknya komentar mengenai warna dari tampilan antarmuka katalog Perpustakaan. Sudut pandang Islam menilai bahwa evaluasi usability memiliki manfaat untuk membantu peningkatan kualitas sistem yang diuji dalam hal ini antarmuka katalog daring Perpustakaan Universitas YARSI dalam menentukan keputusan penelitian selanjutnya melalui hasil penelitian ini.
