Abstract

Maraknya hoax politik sudah menimbulkan keresahan yang dapat menimbulkan disintegrasi bangsa, khususnya generasi muda yang menjadi pemilih pemula pada Pemilu Presiden RI 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana persepsi pemilih pemula terhadap kemampuan literasi informasi mereka dalam menghadapi hoaks Pemilu Presiden RI 2024 di media Sosial Tiktok. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei, Batasan responden hanya pemilih pemula yang menggunakan media sosial TikTok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden menilai dirinya sangat baik dengan skor 3,34 dalam literasi informasi khususnya dalam mendeteksi hoaks pemilu Presiden RI tahun 2024 di platform media sosial seperti TikTok. Kebaruan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model the Big Six untuk penelitian literasi informasi di bidang politik. Rekomendasi penelitian diperlukan penelitian lanjutan tentang pengukuran kemampuan literasi informasi pemilih pemula dalam konteks hoax pemilu Presiden tahun 2024 dan gambaran pengalaman literasi digital mereka dalam menghadapi hoax politik di media sosial.
