Abstract
Buah kersen merupakan buah yang keberadaannya sering kita jumpai di manamana, tetapi pada umumnya kurang dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian orang. Buah kersen dapat diolah menjadi beberapa produk salah satunya adalah sirup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah DPPH. Hasil ekstrak menunjukkan aktivitas Antioksidan buah kersen dengan nilai IC50 sebesar 9025 ppm dan hasil ekstrak sirup kersen dengan nilai IC50 336 ppm artinya aktifitas sirup buah kersen (Muntingia calibura) lebih baik dari ekstrak air buah kersen Kata Kunci: Muntingia calabura, DPPH, IC50
