Abstract
Kedokteran gigi forensik ialah ilmu yang membahas mengenai proses pengumpulan data untuk identifikasi atau sebagai bukti tindak kriminalitas dalam proses peradilan dan penegakkan hukum. Muslim yang menerapkan ilmu pengetahuannya dalam pelayanan kesehatan, ia akan mendapat imbalan di dunia maupun akhirat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan mengenai informed consent pada mahasiswa tingkat profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas YARSI. Jenis penelitian adalah cross sectional analitik, dengan responden penelitian 70 mahasiswa profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas YARSI. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner berjumlah 19 pertanyaan tentang peran, kelengkapan, pelaksanaan, dan dasar hukum informed consent. Mahasiswa tingkat profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas YARSI memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tinggi sebesar 92.9%. Hasil analisis uji Chi-Square memperlihatkan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan tahun akademik. Tingkat pengetahuan mengenai informed consent pada mahasiswa tingkat profesi Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas YARSI adalah tinggi, dan pada mahasiswa tahun 3 memiliki tingkat pengetahuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan tahun 1 dan tahun 2. Menurut pandangan Islam, mahasiswa profesi yang memiliki ilmu pengetahuan dan menerapkan informed consent dalam pelayanan kesehatan, akan terciptanya keselamatan bagi orang lain termasuk bagian dari menegakkan Maqashid asy-syari’ah: hifzh al-nafs (menjaga jiwa pasien).
